The Colossus is Rome’s largest and most advanced piece of equipment to date, combining pre-breaking and grinding into one seamless system and forming an efficient, high-performance grinding cell for the beef, pork, poultry, and pet food industries.

Available in two models, the Colossus 1109 (11-inch plate, 100–125 horsepower) and Colossus 1612 (16-inch plate, 125–150 horsepower), the series delivers additional horsepower to maintain clean cuts and consistent particle size, even under heavy load. The dual-grinder frame ensures precision alignment and sanitation access, with both models feeding directly into Rome’s Titan Series or Maximus Series grinders.
