Paid time off
A general guideline:
- 1-3 years = 80 Hours
- 4-7 years = 120 Hours
- 7-10 years = 160 Hours
- 10-15 years = 200 Hours
- 15+ years = 240 Hours
Rome employees are eligible for Holiday pay following 30 days of employment. Those holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Christmas.
paid sick time
Rome employees will accrue 1 paid sick day (8 hours) per quarter annually, based on the calendar year. Paid sick time can be used for yourself or for transport or care of a family member.
Rome offers a 3% match with our Simple IRA that is available at 30 days of employment. Employees are immediately fully vested in your Franklin Templeton IRA.
Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
Rome pays 100% for employees. Dependent coverage and quotes are available. Eligible for the first of the month following 60 days of employment
Life & Disability insurance
Rome pays for life insurance coverage equal to 1 year annual salary up to $50,000. Our policy also includes short-term disability. Eligible the first month following 90 days of employment. Life insurance will be available after 9 months of employment
aflac supplemental insurance
Rome offers supplemental insurance through AFLAC at a group rate that employees can elect to participate in at their own cost. AFLAC offers short-term disability, accident, cancer, critical care and protection, hospital, and term life policies.
Each fiscal year full-time employees will receive $250 per year to purchase safety equipment and dress code approved items. This allowance does not roll over year to year and anything not used will be lost. Employees aren’t eligible for this benefit until the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
